1. The Daguerreotype was one of the first photographic process that was successful, it resembles a mirror. They are prominent in the 1840's, the Daguerreotype replaced the camera obscura.
2. The albumen print was one of the first exploitable methods it was created in 1850. The main ingredient was the egg white (albumen). The albumen died out in the early 1860's.
3. A Stereograph uses 2 images creating a 3-D effect or 3-dimensional, they were popular in the 19th century.
4. Carte de viste was a small photograph usually made from an albumen print. They were used for self portraits.

5. Alexander G. was known for taking photographs of the Civil War and president Lincoln. Mathew B. was best known for taking pictures of celebrities and the documentation of the Civil War.
